CNC Machining Materials
We machine custom components from aluminum, stainless steel, brass, copper, carbon and alloy steel, and selected engineering plastics. Material selection is confirmed against your drawing, mechanical requirements and application.

Choosing the Right Material
Material choice drives machinability, mechanical performance, corrosion resistance, appearance and cost. We discuss grade, temper, stock form and availability with you during the engineering review.
The grades listed on this page are common examples and do not imply a standing inventory. Final material and supply are confirmed for each project based on your specification and our sourcing.

CNC Aluminum Parts
Lightweight, easily machined and with a strong strength-to-weight ratio — a common choice for housings, brackets and mechanical components.
| Common Grades (examples) | Typical Characteristics |
|---|---|
| 6061-T6 7075-T6 | Good machinability and strength; 7075 offers higher strength for structural use. Other tempers and grades may be considered per drawing. |
| Surface Finishing Suitability | Well suited to anodizing (clear or colored), bead blasting and polishing. Compatibility confirmed with your finish and color requirement. |
| Typical Applications | Housings, brackets, fixtures, heatsinks, enclosures and lightweight structural parts. |
CNC Machining Considerations
Aluminum machines efficiently at higher cutting speeds with good surface results and low tool wear. Chip evacuation and appropriate coolant support clean edges. Grade and temper are examples — actual supply is confirmed per project.
Surface Treatment Applicability
Anodizing is a natural fit for aluminum and provides both protection and appearance. We evaluate thickness, color and masking requirements against your drawing before production.
CNC Stainless Steel Parts
Corrosion-resistant grades for precision mechanical components and parts exposed to demanding environments.
| Common Grades (examples) | Typical Characteristics |
|---|---|
| 304 316 17-4 PH | 304/316 offer general corrosion resistance; 316 performs better in chloride environments. 17-4 PH provides higher strength through heat treatment. |
| Surface Finishing Suitability | Passivation, polishing and bead blasting are commonly applicable. Options confirmed with material and requirement. |
| Typical Applications | Valve components, fittings, medical-adjacent hardware, food- and marine-adjacent parts, precision mechanical assemblies. |
CNC Machining Considerations
Stainless steels work-harden and generate heat; tool selection, rigid setup and coolant management help maintain dimensional stability. Workholding and tolerances are reviewed against geometry and wall thickness.
Surface Treatment Applicability
Passivation restores and enhances the natural oxide layer for corrosion resistance without changing appearance. We confirm the process standard and acceptance criteria with your drawing.
CNC Brass Parts
Excellent machinability and a clean appearance for connectors, fittings, pins and electrical components.
| Common Grades (examples) | Typical Characteristics |
|---|---|
| C360 and other specified brass alloys | Free-machining composition for fine surface finish, tight tolerances and efficient turning. |
| Surface Finishing Suitability | Polishing, plating and bead blasting may apply. Confirmed against appearance and functional needs. |
| Typical Applications | Connectors, terminals, threaded fittings, pins, bushings and machined electrical components. |
CNC Machining Considerations
Brass turns and mills cleanly, supporting fine threads, knurling and small features. Grade selection follows your drawing or specification; we confirm alloy and temper before cutting.
Surface Treatment Applicability
Nickel or other platings can add wear or corrosion resistance and a refined look. Applicability is evaluated with your finish and acceptance standard.
CNC Copper Parts
High thermal and electrical conductivity for electrical and thermal-transfer components.
| Common Grades (examples) | Typical Characteristics |
|---|---|
| C110 (subject to availability) | High-purity copper with excellent conductivity; softer material requiring careful workholding and edge control. |
| Surface Finishing Suitability | Plating may apply for protection or solderability. Options confirmed per project. |
| Typical Applications | Electrical contacts, busbars, thermal components, heatsinks and conductive fixtures. |
CNC Machining Considerations
Copper is gummy and tends to build up on tools; sharp tooling, correct geometry and coolant help achieve clean finishes. Supply of specific grades is subject to availability and confirmed per project.
Surface Treatment Applicability
Plating can protect conductivity surfaces or improve solderability. We review the requirement with your drawing before processing.
CNC Carbon & Alloy Steel Parts
Strong, cost-effective materials for shafts, structural components and machinery parts, selected by drawing and mechanical properties.
| Grade Selection | Typical Characteristics |
|---|---|
| Per drawing & mechanical properties | Grade is determined by your drawing, required hardness, strength and heat-treatment notes rather than a fixed list. |
| Surface Finishing Suitability | Plating, powder coating and passivation-type treatments may apply depending on alloy. Confirmed per project. |
| Typical Applications | Shafts, pins, spacers, structural brackets, gears and general machinery components. |
CNC Machining Considerations
Harder steels demand rigid setups, appropriate tooling and controlled parameters. Heat treatment state affects machinability and final tolerance strategy — reviewed against your specification.
Surface Treatment Applicability
Zinc/nickel plating or powder coating can add corrosion and wear resistance. Applicability depends on alloy and is confirmed with your finish requirement.
CNC Machined Medical Titanium
Excellent biocompatibility, high strength-to-weight ratio, and outstanding corrosion resistance—provided for demanding medical implants and surgical instruments.
| Example Grades (not stocked by default) | Typical Characteristics |
|---|---|
| Ti-6Al-4V ELI (Grade 23) / Grade 5 / Pure Titanium (Grade 2) | Superior biocompatibility, non-magnetic, high mechanical strength, and exceptional fatigue/corrosion resistance. |
| Surface Finish Applicability | Passivation, Anodizing (Color / Type II), Micro-arc Oxidation, Bead Blasting, or Electropolishing. Confirmed per project. |
| Typical Applications | Orthopedic implants (plates, screws), joint replacements, dental abutments, surgical instruments, and minimally invasive device components. |
CNC Machining Considerations
Titanium features low thermal conductivity and work hardening tendency, requiring rigid fixtures, specialized sharp tools, optimized feed rates, and high-pressure coolant to prevent part distortion and ensure micro-tolerances.Medical titanium is offered only where shop capabilities permit.
Surface Finish Applicability
Medical components require strict surface cleanliness and controlled passive oxide layers. We only evaluate and offer verified processes compliant with medical standards.
