CNC Machining Quality Inspection & Assurance

Quality is verified throughout the manufacturing process — from incoming material to final inspection. Inspection activities are planned around your critical dimensions and agreed acceptance criteria.

A Drawing-Driven Quality Process

We do not apply one fixed standard to every part. Instead, we identify your critical features, tolerances and acceptance requirements first, then plan the inspection accordingly.

  • Incoming Material Verification — material identification and incoming checks.
  • In-Process Inspection — critical dimensions checked during production.
  • Final Inspection — dimensional and visual checks before shipment.
  • Inspection Documentation — reports provided when agreed for the project.

From Material to Documented Results

A straightforward inspection flow that follows your part from receipt through final release.

Incoming Material

Verify material identity and basic incoming condition before machining begins.

In-Process Checks

Monitor critical dimensions and process stability during production runs.

Final Inspection

Confirm dimensions, appearance and key features against the approved drawing.

Documentation

Inspection reports may be provided when agreed for the project.

Incoming Material Verification

Material is checked before it enters production to reduce risk of non-conforming parts.

Incoming verification may include material identification, comparison against the purchase/drawing specification, and basic visual or dimensional checks as applicable. The depth of incoming inspection is scaled to the project and material criticality.

  • Material grade and specification review against the drawing.
  • Visual and dimensional checks where applicable.
  • Records kept according to the agreed quality plan.

In-Process Inspection

Critical dimensions are monitored during machining to catch variation early.

During production we check key dimensions and features at defined stages, depending on geometry, tolerance and batch size. This helps keep the process within the agreed requirements before parts are completed.

  • First-article and setup verification where required.
  • Spot checks of critical dimensions during runs.
  • Tool wear and parameter monitoring for tight tolerances.

Final Inspection

Finished parts are checked against the approved drawing before release.

Final inspection covers dimensional verification of critical features and visual examination for finish, edges, threads and cleanliness. Acceptance is judged against your drawing and agreed criteria.

  • Dimensional checks on critical and functional features.
  • Visual inspection of surface finish and appearance.
  • Packaging and labeling checks before shipment.

Drawing and Specification Review

Quality planning starts with a clear understanding of your requirements.

Before production we review your CAD files and drawings to identify critical dimensions, tolerances, materials, finishes and any special requirements. This review shapes the machining setup and the inspection plan so that effort is focused where it matters most.

  • Interpretation of drawings, tolerances and notes.
  • Identification of critical-to-quality features.
  • Alignment of inspection method with requirements.

Inspection Documentation

Record-keeping aligned with the agreed quality plan.

Inspection reports and other documentation may be provided when agreed for the project. The scope of documentation — such as which dimensions are recorded and in what format — is confirmed during quotation so expectations are clear.

  • Measurement records for agreed critical features.
  • Material and process traceability where required.
  • Reports delivered in an agreed format and timeline.

Quality Equipment

Measurement is performed with the factory's actual inspection resources.

Critical features are verified with dedicated measuring instruments, and measurement capability is matched to your tolerance requirements before production begins.

  • Profile projector (video measuring) for small and complex geometries.
  • Mitutoyo surface roughness tester for surface finish verification.
  • Mahr contour measuring instrument for profiles, threads and contour features.
  • Calipers, micrometers and gauges for general dimensional checks.
