Custom CNC Machining Services
APY CNC manufactures precision metal components based on your engineering drawings and specifications. Our services cover CNC milling, CNC turning and multi-axis machining, supported by material selection, surface finishing and inspection planning.
CNC Machining Overview
CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machining is a subtractive manufacturing process that removes material from a solid stock to produce parts defined by a 3D model or technical drawing. It is suited to components that demand tight dimensional control, repeatable features and a wide range of engineering materials.
As a custom CNC machining manufacturer, we produce parts according to each customer's drawing, material specification and quality requirements. Whether you need a single evaluation part, a small batch or repeat production, the process begins with an engineering review of your files before any machining takes place.
CNC Milling
Precision milling for flat surfaces, pockets, slots and complex geometries on custom components.
CNC milling uses rotating cutting tools and a moving workpiece to produce features such as planes, contours, holes, threads and cavities. It is well suited to prismatic parts, housings, brackets and components with features on multiple faces.
Our milling capability spans 3-axis, 4-axis and 5-axis configurations, with the appropriate setup selected according to the part geometry and drawing requirements. Tolerances and achievable features are evaluated per project.

CNC Turning
Custom turned components such as shafts, pins, bushings and cylindrical parts.

CNC turning (lathe machining) rotates the workpiece against a stationary cutting tool to produce cylindrical, conical and rotationally symmetric features. It is efficient for shafts, pins, bushings, sleeves and other round components.
Depending on the part, turning may be combined with milling operations to complete features that cannot be produced by rotation alone. Diameters, lengths and tolerances are defined per the drawing and confirmed with the factory.
Explore CNC TurningMulti-Axis Machining
Multi-sided machining for complex geometries, subject to equipment and engineering review.
Multi-axis machining moves the tool and/or workpiece along additional rotational axes, allowing complex geometries, undercuts and angled features to be machined in fewer setups. This can improve accuracy on parts with features distributed across several faces.
The availability of multi-axis capability, the specific axis configuration and the range of parts it can produce are subject to equipment and engineering review. Please share your drawing so we can confirm whether multi-axis machining is appropriate for your project.

Manufacturing Considerations
Quotations are prepared per project. The following factors typically influence cost, feasibility and lead time, so including them in your inquiry helps us respond accurately:
- Material — grade, stock form and any material certification requirements.
- Geometry complexity — number of features, undercuts, thin walls and overall shape difficulty.
- Tolerances — required dimensional and geometric tolerances on critical features.
- Quantity — prototype, small batch or repeat production volume.
- Surface finishing — required finishes such as anodizing, passivation or bead blasting.
- Inspection requirements — critical dimensions, reports or special verification.
